About Me

Shelley is a registered clinical counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She holds a Bachelor of Education (UBC) and a Masters in Counselling Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology. Shelley has over 20 years of experience working with children, teens and families. Her warm style of establishing and maintaining rapport with clients creates a safe environment for change.

Shelley's draws from theories and techniques such as Family Systems Theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, the Gottman Method and Trauma Integrating Flow Therapy (TIFT). As a wife and mother of three (including two teenagers), Shelley is intimately aware of the joys and challenges that family life can bring. She believes this personal experience enriches her skill as a mental health clinician.
